Campbell Civils has successfully delivered Phase 2 Development Works at Warrenpoint Municipal Cemetery on the Upper Dromore Road on behalf of client Newry & Mourne District Council.
The project was delivered over a five month period with the support of Consultant Engineers Nicholas O'Dwyer.
Scope of works included;
The extension of the existing cemetery road into the new part of the site together with associated paths, lighting, landscaping, fencing, gates to provide access to the designated burial areas. In addition, we constructed a block walled Maintenance and Soil Storage Compound and two Contemplation Areas, the larger of which was double faced with granite. Parking bays were also provided both in the Phase 1 part of the Cemetery and in the new section adjacent to the Contemplation Area to improve the usability and accessibility of the site for all visitors.
