Commissioned by the University of Ulster and managed by Consultant Engineers White Young Green, the contract comprised of the following works;

The construction of a Green Waste Handling area, including vehicle wash down and refuse bin storage facility at Ulster University, Duncreggan Student Village. The works comprised demolition of existing concrete/brick walls, general site clearance, road surfacing, kerbing hardstanding surface, walls, retaining walls, drainage, silt trap unit, protective fence, gates, water point and external lighting

In addition, further contract works were undertaken to construct a compound skip area and relocation of a compactor facility at Magee Campus. The works included the demolition of existing concrete/brick walls, general site clearance and construction of hard standing surface, kerbing, new concrete walls, with acoustic close boarded fence, two sets of double gates with close boarded finish, drainage, water point and external lighting.

The project works were managed in a sensitive way so as not to adversely impact on the day to day running of the University and the students living in the Student Village and studying at Magee Campus. The project was also delivered with a tight timeframe in line with project funding conditions.
