This scheme was commissioned by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive to transform an open area of land, including the relocation of a bespoke artwork piece known as the “Lost Streets”, at Shankill Parade / Malvern Terrace / Hopewell Crescent in West Belfast.  The project formed part of a larger Building Successful Communities initiative with the aim of regenerating local areas and promoting positive image.

We were delighted to undertake this contract which consisted of multiple civil engineering and landscaping elements including demolition and site clearance, road and car park construction, site drainage, brick and asphalt paved footways, a landscaped event space with feature mounds, a reinforced concrete slab cast to fix specially commissioned artwork to, installation of telescopic bollards and feature railings, electrical street lighting works and site paving and landscaping.

Project works have re-invigorated this once disused area of land for the enjoyment of the local community and the main visitors to the murals on the Shankill Road.

It is always a joy to have workmen on site who take pride in their work and produce a high standard finish as seen throughout the Project.
