We are delighted to announce that Campbell Civils has been appointed as Principal Contractor by Mid Ulster District Council to deliver the Car Park Improvement Works at Mid Ulster Sports Arena, Cookstown.
This exciting project will enhance the existing parking and access arrangements, improving the experience for visitors, spectators and sports clubs using this outstanding regional facility.
Our scope of works include:
• Extension and resurfacing of the existing car park.
• New bus lay-by, traffic islands and pedestrian crossings.
• Surface water drainage and retaining wall construction.
• New fencing, pathways, picnic area and landscaping.
• Installation of traffic control systems, signage and upgraded LED lighting.
Works are scheduled to commence in mid-August and are expected to be completed by mid-October 2026.
We look forward to working alongside Mid Ulster District Council and the team at Mid Ulster Sports Arena to successfully deliver these improvements for the local community.
