Work is to start on the first phase of major ‘Riversides’ regeneration scheme in Portadown. We have been awarded the project and will deliver a range of environmental improvements on behalf of clients Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council working alongside Managing Consultants RPS Group.
As part of the Riversides project, exciting new design plans have been drawn up for the first phase of work between Old Town Quay and the Pump House and will include resurfacing, lighting, together with the installation of street furniture an enhanced fencing around the boundary of Haldane Fisher. Works also includes paving and surfacing around the busy Pump House coffee shop.
Council representatives have indicated that further works are proposed as part of wider future plans for the area.
