Greenhill Cemetery is located in Omagh and is owned and managed by Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. We were awarded Phase 1 and Phase 2 contracts to carry out extension and enhancement works at the cemetery.

Phase 1 & 2 works consisted of multiple civil engineering elements including; road and lay by construction, site drainage, surfacing, water main installation, street furniture Installation, creation of concrete plinths for existing wooden and steel benches and bins, installation of previously removed benches and seats and erection of signage identifying the different zones within the cemetery. Landscaping works including top soiling and sowing out with general amenity grass seed was carried out in the spring to complete the project.

Given the sensitive nature of this site our teams worked closely with staff of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council to ensure that the site remained open for burials and visitors while works took place in a sensitive and respectful manner.

Both phases 1 and 2 were delivered on time and within budget and were completed in February 2018.
